When President Obama hits the airwaves Wednesday night to give his State of the Union address, YouTube viewers can do more than simply watch.
According to YouTube, "this year's State of the Union speech will also make history." During the speech, those viewing the address on YouTube will be able to ask questions about the speech's content. The address will be displayed on the company's Citizentube page, where people can submit questions via text or video.
YouTube said that people will be able to continue to ask questions of the president for an additional few days, as well as vote for their favorite questions.
But here's the best part: next week, President Obama will answer the top-voted questions in a YouTube interview from the White House. It will be broadcast live on Citizentube.

Greetings,
My father (over 60 years) is coming to the States in June 15, and his B1 visa expires on June 24. However, my father is planning to stay until August 20.
My question is:
Will he be able to stay after his visa expiration date?
In other words, when will his I-94 expire?
Regards,
Rasheed

I have done stamping at Delhi some time last year January, me and wife attended in the same category, it was very smooth nothing much asked, even the lady who assisted us didnt ask for single document.
We were in the line early morning eventhough our time is little bit late (no body asked us about the interview time)...
Good luck....
Let me know if you need more info...

Hi
USCIS mails are NOT forwarded.
When you update the USCIS about address change. You will get confirmation ( may take 30days ) that the address is changed to ur new address.
If the EAD is approved before confirmation the EAD will go to the old address and returned to USCIS.Then Again you need to ask them to resend.
Now a days Iam seeing may people loosing EAds in mail.Even I lost the EAd in the mail because of address change and it never reached new/old/USCIS. I had to apply for replacement card. ( I don't want to scare You).
May be you go to local USCIS office and check what address they have on file.
Thanks

Hi,
I looked at the list of civil surgeons that approved by USCIS. I called some of them and everyone told me differently in pricing. The basic I693 test would cost around $$220, and if i need vaccines, It would be an addition cost. Like some said the MMR vaccine would cost $120, the other said $50
Lot of them said the cost for chicken pox vaccins is around $120 ( I dont have insurance). My parent is not really sure if I ever have chicken pox or not so incase I need one, DO you know where to get those shots cheaper? Thank you for your time!
go to your county health clinic and take the vaccinations. they are usually free or very cheap. you can then show the report to the uscis doctor to get a waiver.

Guys,
If you are accessing that from work then probably you are prohibited to see that (Through proxy and/or firewall and/or websense). I can not see that either through IE or firefox from work and could see it well from home through both browsers.

:DI am wondering if Anti immigrants are complaining about them too...
Like they are taking away chance from American Citizen basketball players and if they are supressing the NBA player's wages etc etc.... :D:D
I guess we should send this to Lou Dobbs and Mr. Grassley too !! This is highly unfair - only American citizens should be allowed in NBA, MLB , NFL etc etc. :D
Just let them bring a resolution and next year half the teams would be empty.;)

masala_dosa, this is my understanding. once you have applied for EAD, its your responsibility to keep it valid all the time, independent of if you are using the EAD or NOT. You have to appy for renewals before it expires etc. i dont know if it impacts the current gc process or not.
two scenarios:
If you are using EAD for your current job, and if you did not renew ( or alteast file for renew) before it expires you may notbe able to continue the job.
If you are NOT using EAD, but have an EAD on hand you are supposed to keep it valid.
once again - im not an attorney and all above were my understanding.
why dont you talk to your attorney. he/she may have a simple answer for this.

First of all, congrats to everyone in the final stages of this tedious and frustrating process.
I have a question for people who filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently and got their receipt numbers.
I have gotten receipt numbers for my concurrently filed I-485 and I-765 as I paid for them (PD April 2003, I-140/I-485 filed at NSC). I do not have receipt for I-140 after more than 2 weeks. My employer is not giving me receipt number for I-140 as he may be wanting more money from me. Now, I have read in a forum that I-140 when applied concurrently should have receipt number very close to I-485 receipt number and normally I-140 receipt number is less than I-485 receipt number (i.e. if I-485's last four digits are 4600 then last 4 for I-140 number will be lower than 4600 and close to it. So, in theory I can scan numbers prior to mine and find closer ones for the same date and track them.
If you can please check your numbers and tell me if your I-140 number is before your I-485 number and how close they are to each other, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I got my EAD in Oct. I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending in EB2. My wife has got SSN on her EAD, my daughter is still on H4.
I am working on H1B with the same employer who processed my H1. Now, I got a new Job and I still have 3+ years years left in 6 years duration of H1 period.
My question is:
1. Can I transfer my H1 to new employer, without affecting my GC process ? I have good relation with my employer and they can hire me back if I want any time later.
2. As 180 days have passed, I can work on EAD also with new employer. Which is better option - working on H1 with 3+ years remaining in H1 or working on EAD ? Money is not an issue here as my new employer will take care of that.
3. My daughter is still on H4 but my wife has used her EAD. Once I transfer H1 to new company, what things should I care of, like:
(a) I have to transfer H4 for my daughter also ?
(b) What about H4 of my wife ? - She has valid H4 stamped on passport and took SSN also based upon EAD.
Thanks

I am on H1b and work for a desi consultancy company. My project with a client ended some time ago and due to bad market, I have been so far, unable to get onto another project. Now my employer is asking me to go back to my country for some time as I dont have a project in hand. I am worried that this may result in canceling of my H1b visa. However, employer is trying to assure me that he won't cancel it. I am wondering has anybody (somebody you know) been in this kind of situation. FWIW, I do have an american undergrad degree and have been living here legally and lawfully for past nine years.
